Depicting a night at twitter-land, jesse finds a certain twitter user making all the wrong keystrokes with reckless abandon? I think, yes, perhaps very much so...
His rudeness to @megfowler caught my eye the other day, and I attempted to converse with him in order to...get to know his motives a bit better. And he's founded an attack on @newmediajim, a working man reporting on Bush's trip abroad, for no apparent reason other than to accentuate his apparent lack of...tact, I think is the correct term. Others have used the term A$$hole, but that's their statement, not mine...
Chanced to run across his blog today, and left comments giving props and kudos, only to see my comments promptly removed. I will re-post here now:
The response to a posting at:

The comments below are the same one deleted by the blog author.
Here are my comments to his post:
I really like the fact that you really are a very intelligent person. I complimented you because I may be about to blast you.
I may not be, as well. I’ll leave that determination to you.
The other day you asked me why I hadn't been bloggin' since it's been, in what I took as an attempt to belittle my age and...gumption, or desire, I suppose, if not just the latter, 4 years since I graduated. I'm here to thank you for making this place for me to blog. I actually choose, till now, not to be able to afford the time to put together a professional place to write, and I’m no amateur.
Well, back at the ranch, it seems like a "narrow" (like this term) thought to assert "most folk" see much similarity in the root terms of the words accurate and precise.
I disagree that many people assume such similarity in meaning, just for the plain fact that it is very easy to be accurately imprecise. I use this statement of yours to argue that, as I've noticed, in my limited interaction with you over the past few days, you seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder.
I said, you seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder.
This fact, if indeed I am correct (and really, I almost always am), is not necessarily a bad thing. I just think you need to take your chip and place it on a winning number. The chances are that if you choose correctly, you have the chance to actually make a difference, instead of just claiming the house ruined your hand, and leaving disappointed.
You are quite intelligent. Use this intelligence to not only demonstrate the deficiencies, but to also seek a solution for them.
Other than that, I would suggest that the last line of your post is clunky, and that there is a typo involving the use of the word how, I’m sure you mean to say, "and that's how [and not hot] it is with the A-list..."
Further, I ask, where do you get your style at, as it pertains to the usage of a space preceding an ellipsis? I do not believe that is how most people do it. Or, as you said to me, "it's unusual" for people to do...so and so, etc....
And you know what I mean...you were discussing my link to a .pdf file rather than an url...etc...the day we talked with our friend, or at least my friend, @megfowler.
Oh, and concerning your statements about @megfowler, have you thought of an apology? I apologize for making your private comments to me about her public, but I think it is the kind of statement you ought not make, should you not be willing to state thus publicly.
I do believe it is worthwhile to give people a break now and then...wouldn't you agree?
I told you I sometimes make a harsh first impression, but I always end up looking good in the end. This is a valuable asset to achieving what I want.
Finally, I'll close with a sincere compliment to your writing, I was nearly able to keep from scrolling faster than I am actually able to read while browsing your page. It held my attention, for the most part. Thank you for your thoughts.
Yours,
@jesatiu
I realize my response is full of typographical errors as well, yes. I was not faulting you on this, just editorializing.
I also did not realize, as I had not logged into twitter prior to leaving my comment, that you had called me a dick in a direct message and indicated you "blocked" me.
I do think you are wrong, but entitled to your opinion. I apologize for whatever miscommunication it was that lead you to believe I was intentionally trying to be a "dick," as you say.
I live life attempting to better the world around me. You are mistaken and unnecessarily hostile.
Yours,
Jesse

I have to tell you I got great inspiration from your words, "I just think you need to take your chip and place it on a winning number. The chances are that if you choose correctly, you have the chance to actually make a difference, instead of just claiming the house ruined your hand, and leaving disappointed.
You are quite intelligent. Use this intelligence to not only demonstrate the deficiencies, but to also seek a solution for them."
I tend to let carbon monoxide poisoning make me feel sorry for myself, especially when my hand tremor makes it difficult for me to draw--but I'm going to remember this and turn it into a "winning hand." :-);-)
Thank you!
