This is the result of collective memory, collective consciousness, and beliefs in things that are the product of manipulation by an industry which has supplied so many romanticized fantasies and superimposed realities that the general population (those subject to manipulations, spectrum of prone-ness, included) cannot effectively distinguish between inherent cultural value and the culture which is created by this manipulation.
It shouldn't be necessary to include too much information about how to fix society, in general, though, in order to impart some analysis which might have an effect on single family residential housing notes, but it does need to be discussed, in some context, because the general population does have a good deal of responsibility for the conditions which exist, although they do not always seem to act accordingly, nor do they appear to always be aware of the fact that they do, collectively, have responsibility.
Messages. Just the word alone gives importance to the claim above. It is a message that is sent when...how...what is the best way to reach out to gain the attention of the general population and give them the opportunity to understand the life we lead, as a collective, in the way that Government and Business understand the life we lead...
Are there policies in place, anywhere, anyhow, anyway, which place restrictions on the knowledge of the general public for any interests whatsoever? Of course there must be, when we look at Homeland Security. But, are there others? And in fact, what are they over at Homeland Security? Who knows this information? Who regulates this? How can this be done, perhaps, while still maintaining control, but also giving necessary disclosure to the general population, so that they may be as informed as is necessary to insure against the catastrophic event that economic collapse represents.
Collapse is a loaded term, as we have discussed recently. Collapse leads us to believe everything stops working, when in fact, the only thing that we know for certain about the future is that it will keep coming, and it will keep us functioning in one form or another. We will continue to survive. We know this.
What we need to be considering now, with the involvement of all the stakeholders, is how we expect to continue to survive. Under what conditions, and what can we do to prevent those we don't desire, and foster those that we do. In fact, can we even begin by finding some common ground in determining what we agree on.

Prolific Thought Regarding Human Civil Proceedings

I'm not going down for this one.
It's clear what has transpired, and why it has transpired.
I will not be held beyond my responsibility to act according to the normally acceptable and rationally sane manner in which I react to my surroundings.
I am not liable to be discredited by my action when that action is which is within a certain acceptibility when considering the specifics of my ability to react based on the social normalcy ratio, from deviant to just, from good to bad.


History is a complete record. It is not "African American" history or "Asian American" history, Muslim History, or any less than a complete record. What has transpired: History.

Evidence will suggest proof, and plausibility of proof will determine amplitude of truthfulness believed commonly.
Commonly.
Common History is a complete record comprised of the events determined to be accurately depicted by record of truthfulness believed commonly.

Collectively humans gain records and attribute those records with levels of merit as it is widely accepted and generally acknowledged. This is how we create a Historical reference.

It is this Historical divide, that between the Human creation of History, and actual History, which underlies many of the differences, in particular circumstances, such as Court proceedings, tribunals, etc, etc, etc. This is important when realized intangibly in the Political system, and Judicial System, as well as within Global communication.
Humans: We are a two party, three party, and endless infinite party. We are world entity, and we are in a collection.

What this means is that judgement needs to be passed with extreme care and most likely a single point of reference is going to prove insufficient for determining all pertinent factors in order to pass judgement upon situations where credibility is concerned.
Lawfulness and credibility.

Many irresponsible actions do occur, of course. However, we are failing to provide relief for cause in many cases, which is why the punitive system breeds failure, and not success, which are of course, contentious views, and at opposition, much of the time.

We will examine a way to devise proper basis for administering relief for adequately documented action which leads us to provide for the judged in the context of lawfulness and, or, credibility.

The more credible a source is and the more informed the inquisition is, the better the result of the economic distribution the provisions for the adjucated (individual or entity).

Conservationists Support Raúl Grijalva for Secretary of the Interior

Dear President-elect Obama:

As you make appointments to your Cabinet, we encourage you to consider
Congressman Raúl Grijalva for Secretary of the Interior. The new Secretary of
the Interior must bring strong, focused leadership to the position in order to
ameliorate the devastating effects of the Bush administration’s eight years of
failed environmental policy. We strongly believe that Congressman Grijalva’s
background and record show him to be a leader ready for this challenge.

As Arizona’s congressional representative, Congressman Grijalva has shown a
broad range of passion and expertise for conservation and management of public
lands. He has highlighted the Bush administration’s attempts to undercut
science in favor of industry interests and sought ways to work with agencies and
environmental groups to better protect public lands. For this, Grijalva has
gained respect in the environmental community for his clear and decisive
positions on sometimes complicated issues.

As a member of the Pima County Board of Supervisors, Grijalva was responsible
for leading one of the largest counties in the United States. With large urban
areas, vast expanses of federal land, rapid population growth, a high density of
endangered species, a shared border with Mexico, and an ethnically and
politically diverse populace, Pima County is microcosm of the issues a Secretary
of the Interior must be capable of managing. In this position, Grijalva
demonstrated not only knowledge of the issues, but a natural ability to bring
differing interests together to reach mutually acceptable agreement. He was a
leader in the development, approval and funding of the precedent-setting Sonoran
Desert Conservation Plan. Bringing federal, state and county governments
together with conservationists, developers and scientists, Congressman Grijalva
helped forge one of the most far sighted endangered species protection plans in
the nation.

One of the immediate tasks for the Secretary of the Interior will be to deal
with growing national water problems. Management of drought and the ability of
the Secretary to bring powerful, conflicting interests to the table will be
essential, as evidenced by the recent crises in Georgia and Florida, the
continuing controversy on the Klamath River, and the scientific consensus that
the Colorado River is dangerously over-allocated. Grijalva has long been
involved in drought management on the San Pedro, Santa Cruz and Colorado Rivers
and is well-prepared to tackle these issues on a national level.

Grijalva’s record of anticipating and working to address growing
environmental problems will also be an important asset in the Secretary of the
Interior position. Expanding forest fires, the melting of the Arctic, drought in
the interior West and Southeast, loss of endangered species habitat, rangeland
degradation, and permitting of coal mines, coal plants, and other traditional
and alternative energy projects all point to global warming becoming the central
issue for DOI lands and jurisdiction. Grijalva has been a leader in pressing
Interior and other federal agencies to integrate global warming issues into
their planning and permitting.

Grijalva’s experience in key environmental Congressional caucuses has
prepared him to lead the full range of agencies within the Department of the
Interior. In addition to his chairmanship and work on public lands, he has
worked closely with Native American communities ­ his district includes seven
sovereign nations ­ and has served on the Subcommittee on Insular Affairs.
Also, as a Representative from the arid southwest he is intimately familiar with
the responsibilities of the Bureau of Reclamation.

Further, Grijalva’s leadership in the labor and Hispanic communities has
allowed him to move beyond the long-held false dichotomies of environment vs.
jobs and species vs. rural communities to promote better management and use of
public lands. This is especially important because Hispanics are the fastest
growing users of public lands in the West. Their interests have been largely
ignored to date, even when those interests are harmed by federal land
development and extraction and access policies. The Interior will benefit from
Grijalva’s ability to bring these interests to the table.

Grijalva’s demonstrated keen knowledge of procedural issues regarding public
lands will also be an asset to the Secretary of the Interior position. In 2008,
he led efforts to stop damaging mining on BLM lands and other federal lands
where the Secretary of the Interior, BLM and Minerals Management Services have
permitting authorization. This was largely due to his innate ability to
understand and compellingly explain how poorly planned mining threatens local
communities and water supplies.

In the last decade, central management issues on public lands ­ including
logging, ORVs, fire management, grazing, mining and water conservation ­ have
changed from deeply rural issues to an urban interface. Grijalva’s experience
in the major urban center of Tucson has provided a hands-on understanding of the
new urban-edge dynamic and an appreciation of the resulting political
constituencies that are emerging.

The next Secretary of the Interior must have a nuanced understanding of the
complex issues involved in protecting and stewarding our natural resources and
lands. With the recent economic downturn, there will be calls for increased
energy production at the risk of significant environmental destruction. We
believe that Congressman Grijalva’s demonstrated strength in navigating these
sensitive issues and his commitment to science-based decision-making will serve
the Interior well as it moves beyond the Bush administration’s policies.

As organizations dedicated to protecting imperiled animals, plants and our wild
lands through sound science and enforcement of environmental laws, we regularly
interact with federal agencies within the Department of the Interior. It is with
this perspective that we heartily endorse Raúl Grijalva to be appointed as its
Secretary.

A Guide for: dangerous emotions and controlling life.

a guide for mothers: anger and abuse, a cycle founded in abuse, excuse, fear, guilt and shame.

We are presently engaged in the process of creating mothers who are going to define the results produced by the humans they modify. The human mind is consistently evolving and the best way to ensure that yours functions with the highest capacity is to learn to understand that you will learn to adaptively engage with your surroundings, but that, more importantly, you are able to influence the way that you learn-and that, that will adaptively adapt you to your surroundings in the most beneficial way.
This benefit will be to the benefit of the entire race of humans if the limiting pressures are disolved and the positive means are conceived, revealed and pursued actively, with merit, honesty, wholesome regard for others, and the ability to treat all humans as though they must expect to deserve the same as any other human.
Be careful, however, because there is a lot of uncertainty in the way the world puts pressures on your brain, and believing that you can learn is of great importance, but recognizing what you learn is similar to learning what you recognize...this isn't making sense; but it does make sense.
We learn and act according to what we learn and the things we learn. We regard and engage with, we are integral with, the influences which cause us to behave in certain ways, once we've experienced a certain exposure to specific influences. Influences are things that we must expect even though it is true that often we won't be expecting them.
Behavoirs of others can lead to our adapting with ourselves and existing within our own expectations.

Review the comments, be very open minded, and between the lines you will read that Mr. Johnson is a spy in the ranks of the Democratic party.

I am not sure why, "Chris," you are so convicted, with your support for and admiration of this man, but I assure you, from reading what you have written, you are being led astray.

I have erected no strawman argument, I have reduced Johnson's comments to barebones brevity, and that is what you see.

You see Johnson claiming that Obama is not only aligned with rap music (do i need to explain how offbase this distraction is?) but that Clinton is the only hope for the democratic party, in that Obama will allow terrorism.

Why? Because Mccain has a better chance of beating Clinton, as Bush did beating Kerry, than he does of beating Obama.

Sage advice to be taken...and given

This is mostly a "who am I" and "how does that relate to social media" post...

But before I begin in earnest, I'd like you to consider what you know about humans...mentally make a short list of commonalities, especially those that are the dearest to you, for example, breathing air, having the right to your own opinion and the ability to make choices for yourself in such a way as to enjoy the pursuit of happiness, etcetera.

Human beings are not dissimilar entities. We share more commonality than we do opposition. Keep this in mind as the worldwide population continues to expand. We must recognize, understand and value the differences and likenesses of each human. Each human, not each set of humans, but each and every single living human being.

Furthermore, most of you reading will already have an understanding of scientific experimentation and statistical data dissemination. Think about how trials and experiments are conducted. Pay particular attention to the scale of experimentation. In each instance, for any trial or experiment, sets (and often subsets) are selected. Randomization is typically preferred, but regardless, assumptions and findings are based on a scaled-down population that is, hopefully, representative of a larger group.

The users of social media are the randomized population selected to participate in learning how to function in an evolutionary environment where the ultimate outcome is to determine a course of action that allows for optimized survival. More on that at a later date...back to the "who am I..." I had promised.

I am Jesse Loop.
I'm an author, and will continue to be as long as I am able to write. I have multiple examples of my writing work online, in the form of blog posts, and comments on others' blogs. I tend to write mostly regarding issues humans face, politics, race, religion and other items of interest stemming from the advancement and evolution of life on planet Earth. Further, I write children's literature, poetry, lyrics and science fiction, but mostly those categories are for my own enjoyment, and not public consumption.

Unlike my editing and writing examples, much of my graphic design work, which I am quite proficient at, including layout with Quark, Publisher and Pagemaker, and creation with Illustrator, photoshop, and going way back, good old MSpaint, is not available online, but I do have hard copies. I can use either a mac or pc just as easily, but I have no experience with linux or ubuntu.

I can be found using twitter, often issuing sometimes controversial statements designed to encourage people to think for themselves. My tactics likely come across differently to different people. I even claim my tweets diverge from normal from time to time. My sense of literary genius comes from literature itself, a love of science and the advancement of the human condition, our collective environment and ever-evolving societal structure.

My background in both journalism and anthropology are useful to me as I have a distinct quest for knowledge regarding human behaviour, as well as the ability to document my findings. I have remarked, lightheartedly, that I have a Master’s degree in the discipline of thought process sciences. While the title is self-accredited, the experiences that have provided this education are many, diverse, and unique. I have a wide range of experience to draw upon, and attempt to use this knowledge for the benefit of other humans. However, I try not to take myself too seriously. I prefer to remain professional and purposeful even in the course of daily life.

I use two accounts on twitter, but primarily @jesatiu, as I have found that for my purposes, which are to demonstrate the ability to communicate logic and reason in demonstrably healthy and reasonably consistent manner, being myself is paramount. The other is a more personal account used mostly for communication with some of the more influential new media members of twitter. That one is simply @jesseloop.

I have been asked recently to attend NECC and to become involved with Quest Atlantis, and have been referred to Sasha Barab by two different mutual contacts. Apparently my twitter stream gives the impression that I am a knowledgeable and intellectual individual with the capacity to educate. Of course, that’s mostly by design. I do what I can.

If i make a direct and rigid claim or issue a directive I am often correct. In order to achieve this as often as possible I try to refrain from making claims and issuing directives based on feeling or assumption, but instead, choosing to make rigid claims only when I feel certain that fact is on my side. However, more times than not, I simply offer suggestion, and allow the receiver to judge for themselves whether my position carries merit or not. This approach allows me to remain humble as a humble person is rarely humiliated. I also try to look for situations where I am wrong, and admit my mistakes. This approach allows me to better myself as an individual.

I use the power of communication in order to facilitate my ultimate objective, which is to leave the world knowing I have contributed to humanity in such a way as to provide myself with a clear conscience. I firmly believe that God, or any other similarly Omnipotent or Almighty presence, will not judge me any more than I will judge myself.

My slogan, on that issue, is: “you’re going to pay for your own ride…” It’s very similar to the creed of most religions, “Do unto others as you’d have done unto you…”

While the purpose of this post is to educate you, as a part of the social media experiment, I feel as though my use of social media should be primarily relevant to education, in both directions, from me to others, and from others to me. I hope to be an educator at nearly every available opportunity. I also attempt to learn as much from my own writing as I can hope to convey to others, a trick learned from Dr. Isaac Asimov.

By the end of your research regarding me, and my online presence (see @techjen and @geekmommy blogs for reference to difference between “me,” and, “my online presence…”) you will know much more about me than I will know about you, but, in the vein of the parenthetically mentioned blogs, assumptions can be misleading. I can tell you, for example, that just this week alone, using the case of @jetblue as reference (business and education aren’t that far apart when it comes to social media), that the role of social networking in education is to eliminate, or at least to shed a positive light on, assumptions, as I’ve just done for you, regarding me.

CMC (computer mediated communication), as you are most likely aware of, especially given that I’ll assume you have knowledge of the Journal of CMC, based here at IU, presents trials and tribulations, and new media opportunities, representative of the need to further understand social networking, and, ultimately, societal structure, given that my claim that “humans are intrinsically inclined to participate in social behaviour,” is correct.

@jpostman; @chrisbrogan: Joel and Chris, both in the list of influential new media personalities, discuss the vital need for individuals, organizations and businesses to remain ethical and transparent in the growing new media environment. This issue is one that we see unfolding even as I type. The GM blogs are often referenced, as is the Dell presence, when discussing the proper way to use the blogosphere and new media to promote a healthy and morally sound link between a corporation and its customer base (both existing and prospective). Again, I believe education and business share a common link in the new media environment, and ultimately, that new media will provide solutions for the problems facing the larger human network.

Educating in this environment is a challenging, rewarding and worthwhile undertaking in that the contributions of education assist in the development of knowledge. Knowledge which is useful in understanding the evolutionary human process, and even questions like, “how do you use twitter?”

I’m hoping to impart to you my affinity for social networking and for CMC as it pertains to the societal structure, but, also, more importantly, and on task to this communication, that I understand social networking and its potential to serve education. Further, my communication, sales and management experience combine with my professionalism to qualify me as an educator, elder and participant of ongoing learning as I assume the roles I take in social media and in life.

Regarding the comment left on my post, “It’s not right to put words into another’s campaign…”

I appreciate Dan's comments, and I can see, again, McCain's strengths, as listed, in theory, would carry much merit.

Again, what I take issue with in this sentiment (that of the author of the article from townhall.com), and what I think is missed in this discussion, is that the "change" Obama represents is, again, not change from some deviant "soul" of the American citizenry, etcetera, but change from politics as usual, especially in the case of deep ties to global corporate wants, as in the case of the Halliburton example. Which is to leave out "big oil" in general, which, is, probably a mistake on my part.

I'm not singling out Halliburton. Just one example in a long list.

I'm in fact, not saying that the corporation Halliburton is an evil entity, or does not have its place in business (others make this case but I think that the pros and cons of this corporation are irrelevant to the theme of my argument here), but that having government leadership that is so implicitly connected to, and therefore apt to influence by, such huge corporate pressures and desires, is not good for the American soul, or the American people (the "little" people, if you will).

Taken a step farther, I feel like we need change from the son of a CIA director and former president. The political leadership in America has become too closely netted with the military, the corporate agenda, the good-ole-boys…the status quo, the upper echelon…we need to have a democratically run anti-corporate funded political leadership or else we will rot from the head down.

Let’s say, for example, Obama doesn’t have enough…the word experience is used a lot, to imply connections, right? Ok, so Obama isn’t connected enough, let’s pretend. Let’s put aside all of his accomplishments and his background in Law and government, and pretend he’s not connected enough to have “experience.” So what happens.

Well, let’s assume something goes way wrong…let’s assume a hurricane takes out Washington D.C. Ok, bad times. Then, we get hit with a huge earthquake on the San Andreas and millions are dead and millions more are homeless, and then, as if that wasn’t bad enough, some guy the CIA trained, wronged, and left to go insane on us, takes a big stab at Chicago or Miami, or Atlanta, and knocks down a few buildings, killing tens of thousands more…ok, so…North, South, East and West, all within a few months of each other, hit with total annihilation of normalcy. So what happens? Obama gets help.

We all chip in and we help him, as our leader, by elect, and we deal and we make things as good as they can be. And guess what, it doesn’t have to be catastrophe, either. This same scenario works for a collapse in the stock market, a small-time terrorist attack, a huge spike in oil and economic mayhem. He gets help. We, the people, and all those congresspeople, mayors, governors, police, emt, 911 operators, factory workers, tow truck drivers, waitstaff, etcetera…

“We All” chip in, we bond together, doing our roles, just like in the case of 9/11, we make it right. We do it. Obama’s experience means little on these terms. I don’t have the experience to make a sandwich, when I’m four years old, but with the right guidance and help, I get it done. The same applies to Obama. I think it might be good for this country to have someone who doesn’t have enough experience. Make us all act a bit more responsibly for our roles, to make this country right, again. Bring on a reason for corporations to step up to the plate for the average American. Bring on a reason for hope and change. Bring it on, baby…let’s force ourselves to show what we are made of, and not that we need to rely on those who are tied-in, connected and “experienced,” to lead us around like the sheep we’ve become.

I think Obama supporters are saying it's time to give someone a chance who is more (I realize not entirely, but more so) disconnected. Time for change, not from a way of life or the greatness of the nation, or from a mythical deviant “soul,” but from good-ole-boy, insider mentality...McCain is simply too close to the same-old-same-old thing that is not working for the underserved in America.

Now, I'm not extremely political by nature. I only know just enough about republicans and democrats to be, typically, repulsed by them both. I also don't identify with libertarians, or independents, as I don't know, honestly, what it means to fit into those boxes.

Further, I don't fit into a religious box, either. I simply cannot be categorized in those terms.
So, therefore, all I know is that I can pick a candidate who, in my opinion, will serve the greatest good of the greatest number of people. In those terms, Obama is it, it seems like.

And again, in my opinion, four years of Obama is worth a try at that goal, and seems more likely to achieve that goal (the greatest good to the most needy), than four years of McCain.
I can't see, really, either way, total collapse in our system or our world, so, with that in mind, I personally feel Obama is, despite being perhaps a longshot, the best horse for the money.

Hope this clears things up, and I desperately appreciate the discourse-there is no way to reach a correct decision without discourse. You can quote me on that. Without discourse, without discussion, it's like searching a cellar at midnight for a black cat that isn't there (H.S. Thompson on theology).

Smart people making smart arguments will show, eventually, less smart people which one is the smartest argument. This is paramount to the system of democracy. Who was it that said, “without discourse there is no democracy,” well, I’m not sure, but I know he was of enough importance that a google search would probably tell you fairly quickly.

No matter what, just remember to vote your conscious. Not to vote with whoever is the most likely to have the best connections (experience) to the status quo.

This article would imply the Senator thinks our nation is one of bad character, a nation whose "soul" needs changing.
I hardly doubt that is the case.
Isn't it more to the point that the current politics need changing, simply that the current roles of government need changing, simply that the current process of government, the current process of education, the current process of spending money, the current process of engineering, the current process of foreign relations, needs changing. NOT THAT THE PEOPLE of this GREAT LAND need changing.
Am i right?

you know...if it wasn't for obama, i'd [probably] be supporting mccain, so that said, we're not so far apart are we?

there is something i think is desperately wrong with the article though, and that is that Obama is not saying there is anything wrong with the country or its citizenry. He's not saying we have a poorly defined will, a malignant national "soul," or anything along those lines.
What he clearly stands for, what he brings us in his message of "change," is that he's not the Bush administration.
He's not Halliburton.
He's not the son of George Bush.
He's not controlled by Dick Cheney.
He's not...this current administration. He's change from this current administration.
Mccain won't beat Obama. He'll waste valuable money that he could spend giving to underserved.
America "allows" a black man to run for president and a black woman to go to school because we wanted change in the past. We still want it, it's what we need to REMAIN the best place on earth.

Response from twitter question regarding detailed notions of the psychological ramifications of divorce and annulment.

There’s some level of "trauma" for kids in separated homes. but stability is complex and can't be determined unless the whole picture is considered.

The human process in general is very complex, psychological functioning and health come from stability and love, and the stability of love.

The nurturing of any individual, despite having differing effects at different age levels, is best achieved through a system of support and complementation.

Consider complementation as a form of the verb “complement,” meaning "mutually supplying each other's lack."

Other definitions exist, meaning to provide, 1, a: an expression of esteem, respect, affection, or admiration; especially : an admiring remark.

b: formal and respectful recognition : honor

2, plural : best wishes : regards

If these definitions are applied to the development of a child by its influencing peer and “support” group, and the natural process of nurture, we can see that not only the health of the child(ren) is affected, but that the nurturing process also offers a reciprocal role to the health and well-being of the adult(s) involved. To complement one another in health and wellness; in other words.

When we utilize this manner of approach, the mutual benefit to the child and the parent creates the ideal scenario of psychologically healthy individuals stemming from psychologically healthy individual interaction. This interaction is optimal, and actions, such as divorce, create influential emotional (and physical in some cases) reactions which can, and will, to varied extents, inflict harm.

Reaching from harm to violence is, again, a scaled situation (a spectrum) where the levels of the entire process are complicated, or has complications, due to the nature of its very complexity.

The judgment factor involved in determinations of levels of harm or, conversely, levels of…we’ll use “health,” (to represent the opposite of harm) is paramount, and should be made by a networked support group of professionally trained mentors and advocates.

This network of mentors and advocates would be, ideally, in a perfect world, provided as an intrinsic social service.

Unfortunately, this idyllic and perfect world cannot exist, as it would, as outlined above, require intrusions into the rights of privacy. Any world, having intrusion into the rights of privacy, will not meet the requisite requirements of a “perfect world.”

Finally, let us not, however, be dissuaded by the fact that divorce, for example, is going to have adverse effects on our overarching definition of “health.”

There is a silver lining.

This silver lining comes from the fact that while a bad thing won’t be made a good thing, simply by the good that comes of a bad thing, good will come of all things, even bad things.

It may be difficult to recognize, but in some respects, in some regards, and in some kind of way, whether apparent or not on the surface and in the moment, it will exist.

In sum, “that which does not kill us, only makes us stronger.”
